what to expect

First Baptist Fayetteville is a caring congregation that welcomes anyone and everyone. We want you to discover the joy that we share when we come together to worship God in spirit and in truth. If you are planning to visit on a Sunday morning, here are some hints to help you find your way around and know what to expect.

G E T T I N G  H E R E :

First Baptist Fayetteville is located at the corner of College & Dickson Street. We have several lots that surround the church and the south lot on the corner of Highland and Dickson is reserved especially for our guests. If you park in our guest lot you will come in the entrance to the church where the Information Center is located and where a greeter will assist you in finding your way.

B I B L E  S T U D Y:

Sunday mornings, you will be greeted by a smiling face (behind a mask) when you enter our building. These greeters can direct you to the Information Center where volunteers will help you find a Sunday School class that is appropriate to your age and life stage. Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m.

W O R S H I P :

We currently have one Sunday morning worship service that begins at 10:30 a.m. meeting in two different locations within our building. While the sermon will be livestreamed in the second venue, everything else is "live and in person" for worship. This allows us to provide more space for social distancing. At 6:00 pm Sunday evenings our online Engage worship time features in-depth teaching by Pastor Josh Mauldin on what we believe. Our worship service seeks to lead you to experience God's presence and to encourage you to be participators in worship, not spectators. The "fused" worship style of our church ministers to multiple generations. Hymns, praise songs & a variety of musical instruments accompany FBC's worship of our living God.
