Spring 2018 studies

Grow in The Word and grow with one another.

  • discuss and discover, wednesdays at 6:00pm

We had a great time last semester getting to know our international friends and their families and teaching them the Bible by practicing English. If you would like to join in this semester, we would love to have you. Study meets in LA 150. For more information, contact the church office at 313-6216.

  • adult bible study: revelation talk back
    Wednesdays at 6:00pm

Our Wednesday night Bible study is led by Lance Brewer, with our Pastor, Doug Falknor teaching once a month. Revelation talk back will be the emphasis of study when Lance is teaching. This study will pull from the Sunday evening preaching series our Associate Pastor, Josh Mauldin, is leading. Each week we will drill a little deeper or look wider at the Book of Revelation following the sermons from the Engage worship services that Josh preaches.

  • Precept upon precept: Daniel Pt 2, Wednesdays at 5:45pm

Daniel was a man who knew what God said about the end times. He focused on what God said, not the events of his own time. He had an impact on the people that God placed in his life. How do you live as a Daniel in the crucial days in which you find yourself? How can you dare to be different? How do you get to know God Most High? The book of Daniel has the answers.  This study will be facilitated by Cay Thorn. It begins January 31 and will meet in the North Building room 125. Cost is $22 for the participant workbook. Click the picture to the left to register.

  • ladies bible study- Hosea: Unfailing love changes everything

Join this group of ladies as they study the book of Hosea, fervently pray and fellowship together. Hosea is such a beautiful love story, it's the love story of Hosea and his wandering wife Gomer. It's the story of God's love for His wayward people Israel. Ultimately, it is the story of God's unfailing love for you and me. This study will be facilitated by Gloria Falknor and will be held starting March 29th on Thursdays at 9:30am in NB 118.
